Scholarships (Deadline is Typically Mid April)
The EHS Boys Soccer Boosters supports 3 scholarships to help defray the cost of post-secondary education and recognize achievements of eligible EHS Boys Soccer athletes.
The Soccer Essay Scholarship – $1500
To be awarded based on an essay submitted by the applicant. Applicants must have participated in the EHS soccer program for a minimum of 3 years. The essay shall be 500-1000 words. The Academic Scholarship – $500
To be awarded to the athlete with the highest class rank based upon weighted GPA as determined by the EHS Guidance Department. Scholarship applicants must be full-time EHS students and must have participated in the EHS soccer program a minimum of three full years. The Tufts Scholarship – $500
Jim Tufts was a long time teacher and soccer coach at EHS. He also became involved with Special Olympics. This scholarship is intended to honor both his passion for soccer and volunteering. Applicants must have been a student at EHS for at least 5 full semesters and played for EHS Boys soccer for at least 3 years, including senior year. A student may only win one of the three scholarships. These three applications can also be found on the Naviance website.
